President

My name is George Papageorgiou and I am 21 years. Hailing from Katerini in Pieria, about to vector the fourth year of my academic studies at the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My involvement with the European Union Youth Legal Thessaloniki (ELSA Thessaloniki) started 2014 as a Member of the editorial staff "Expressis Verbis".

The academic year 2015 – 2016 I found myself in the position of General Secretary of the local Association, while the next year was elected President of ELSA Thessaloniki. In parallel, I served two years in a row. Epikefalis the Organizing Committee of the Summer School of Legal ELSA Thessaloniki. My participation in national and international institutions ELSA conferences helped to understand more about the organization.

This year finds me as Chairman of ELSA Greece. My goals for this term are the effective cooperation of board members, and the continuation of the upward trend of the organization while qualitative deepening of external actions and effective partnerships.

 


 

My name is Georgios Papageorgiou and I am 21 years old. Descending from the small town of Katerini, I currently enter the fourth year of my academic studies at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My acquaintance with European Law Students’ Association started in 2014 when I became member of the editorial team of the magazine “Expressis Verbis”.

For the academic year 2015 – 2016 I was elected Secretary General and the next year I was elected President of ELSA Thessaloniki. The same time, I was also for two years in a row Head of the Organizing Committee of ELSA Thessaloniki Summer Law School. Having participated in NCMs’, IPMs’ and ICM of ELSA helped me to understand more what the organization stands for!

Honored to be elected President of ELSA Greece this year, my main goals are the effective collaboration of the members of the Board, the continuing growth of the organization while quality upgrading our acts and making our external cooperation more beneficial for ELSA.
